RUBRIC WRITING INSTRUCTIONS ASSIGNMENT
CHECKLIST FOR WRITING INSTRUCTIONS ASSIGNMENT
You will submit a draft of the file by Sunday of Week 2. I
will return the draft with comments for revision by Tuesday night (hopefully
even on Monday so start checking on Monday for your returned draft). Make the
required revisions and then submit the final version no later than Friday with
the final version file name.
NOTE: Drafts are NOT sloppy copies. This draft should be completed to the best of your ability as if it were to be graded as the final version. I will not accept or review incomplete drafts nor those that do not have the checklist and rubric copied at the end of the document.
Highlight in YELLOW the checkmarks in this checklist AND in the rubric as you complete the item (Example: √ ). Then then copy the checklist and rubric at the END OF YOUR DRAFT. I will use these to make comments for revisions. Copy this checkmark to put at the end of each item you have completed in your draft before submitting.

· √ Please DO NOT type anything in the assignment folder – messages are not necessary and take up valuable space in the folder with all the submitted files. You don't need to type the name of the file or that you have submitted the file or anything else. If you need to contact me, please do so via email.
· √ Use the Word document provided in the assignment. Use DOC or DOCX or RTF files ONLY. If you don't have Word on your computer, download a free copy of Open Office.
· √ Use the graphics in the assignment file. Do not make new graphics.

· √ The imperative verbs must all be the same (click, click on, select, etc.). Don't alternate between two or more verbs).

· √ Do not use passive voice or first, second, or third person POV in the instructions.
·
√ Required reading for
introduction and writing style (course statistics will show if and when these
